Principal Exothermic Engineering personnel maintain seats on    NFPA 85 Technical Committees and the NFPA 85 Fundamentals Committee.  These are the committees that write the controls descriptions and Burner Management System (BMS) requirements in NFPA 85.  Our engineers have written, modified and/or checked and sealed BMS logic for just about every type of boiler, fuel and firing system, including gas, oil, coal, and trash.  Services include:

• Design of BMS logic for two fluidized bed, pulverized coal, stoker, gas, oil and alternative fuel fired boilers.

• BMS review for NFPA compliance.

• BMS logic modifications.
