Principal Exothermic Engineering personnel have previously maintained seats on the NFPA 85 Multiple Burner Boiler Technical Committee and the NFPA 85 Fundamentals Committee.  These are the committees that write the controls descriptions and Burner Management System (BMS) requirements in NFPA 85.  Our engineers have written, modified and/or checked and sealed BMS logic for just about every type of boiler, fuel and firing system, including gas, oil, coal, and trash.  We are presently designing BMS logic for two fluidized bed boilers at a new Nebraska site.
