- Exothermic Engineering completes independent
third party performance testing work at second of three new 700 mW coal
fired units for Tanjung Bin Power In Malaysia The bank's engineer required an
independent third party scrutiny of all turbine, steam generator, emissions and overall
plant performance testing. Testing lasted a week. Exothermic Engineering was requested to
review the test procedure, monitor all test setup and procedures,
witness the actual testing in Malaysia, and scrutinize all data and
calculate results. Two units are now complete. Unit 3 will be
tested late in 2007.
